Great article. Whereas the open web in its original incarnation is dying, limb by limb, it is now unclear to me how it is replaced, even with the protocols that may replace the platforms (I have sadly been unable to entirely replace my usage of Twitter with Bluesky, and tried Farcaster and found not enough there). Or, more accurately, whether that replacement will be fast enough.
